Jennifer Barton specializes in sports medicine, orthopedics, and cosmetic medicine with a passion for helping patients achieve better health.
I applied to PA school because I wanted to work in the operating room working with Orthopedic surgeons.
I graduated from Ohio State in 2007 with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science. I spent a few years working various jobs then went to Kettering College of Medical Arts for my graduate degree. I graduated in 2013 with a Master's in Physician Assistance Studies. I worked for Ohio State Sports Med and Ortho from 2013 to 2019 then I started with Dr. Dulaney-Cripe in 2019. I also work part time in Cosmetic Medicine and have been there since 2021.
My main influence was my mom who worked as a nurse for 41 years. My dad has also influenced my desire to help people as he has been a police officer for 51 years.
The healthcare system is confusing and stressful. I love being the trusted provider to help people with their concerns and navigating the system.
I love helping people get back to their lives. So many of us change our hobbies, our jobs and how we interact with our families because of pain, so I love to be able to help with that.
I hope that my patients and co-workers agree that I am patient, answer questions and take my time with all of my patients. 😉
To assist patients with Ortho conditions to achieve their goals for pain reduction, be able to work, spend time with their families, enjoy their hobbies and exercise as much as possible.
I am married and we have pets. We love to travel and I also own and operate a travel agency on my days off of clinic.
