Lyn is a certified Pilates Instructor for WAVE Physical Therapy + Pilates.
My passion for movement, wellness, and helping others led me to Pilates. I was drawn to the Pilates method because of its ability to improve strength, flexibility, posture, and overall body awareness while being accessible to people of all fitness levels. What started as a personal practice quickly became a passion for teaching and helping others experience the transformative benefits of Pilates.
I am a certified Pilates Reformer Instructor through the Balanced Body and have completed comprehensive training in Mat Pilates, Reformer, Trapeze Table, and Tower instruction. I have been practicing and teaching Pilates for more than nine years and have extensive experience leading both private and group sessions utilizing the Reformer, Chair, and Barrels. I continually pursue continuing education opportunities to stay current with industry best practices and provide the highest level of instruction to my clients.
I have been fortunate to learn from many talented Pilates educators and instructors throughout my training and career. The philosophy and methodology taught through Balanced Body have had a significant influence on my teaching style. I am continually inspired by instructors who emphasize movement quality, functional fitness, and helping clients build confidence through consistent progress.
I love seeing clients achieve things they never thought possible. Whether it's improving strength, reducing pain, increasing mobility, recovering from an injury, or simply feeling more confident in their bodies, it's incredibly rewarding to be part of their journey. Pilates is a lifelong practice that benefits both the body and mind, and I enjoy helping clients discover how movement can enhance every aspect of their daily lives.
I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients—from beginners who are new to Pilates to experienced practitioners looking to deepen their practice. I particularly enjoy helping individuals improve functional movement, build strength safely, increase flexibility, and gain confidence in their physical abilities. I believe Pilates can benefit everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or physical condition.
My approach combines technical expertise, personalized attention, and genuine care for each client's goals. With over nine years of teaching experience, I develop safe, effective, and comprehensive programs tailored to each individual's needs. I focus on proper form, movement quality, and creating an encouraging environment where clients feel competent, confident, and connected. My commitment to ongoing education ensures that I bring current knowledge and proven techniques to every session.
My mission is to provide the highest quality instruction to help individuals achieve their health, fitness, and wellness goals. I believe Pilates Reformer training is one of the most effective ways to build strength, improve mobility, enhance posture, and support overall well-being. No matter your age, gender, or physical condition, my goal is to help you move better, feel stronger, and live a healthier, more active life.
Helping people discover what their bodies are capable of brings me the greatest joy. I love seeing clients gain strength, confidence, mobility, and a renewed sense of well-being through Pilates. Watching someone achieve a goal they once thought was out of reach—whether it's moving without pain, improving posture, recovering from an injury, or simply feeling stronger in everyday life—is incredibly rewarding. Building meaningful relationships with clients and being part of their wellness journey is what continues to inspire me every day.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy staying active and continuing my own fitness and wellness journey. I love spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, traveling, sailing, the arts and exploring new ways to support a healthy lifestyle. I also enjoy continuing my Pilates education, learning about movement and functional fitness, and finding new ways to help my clients achieve their goals. Maintaining balance between physical activity, personal growth, and time with loved ones helps me bring positive energy and enthusiasm to every class I teach.
