HOW DOES THE METABOLIC EFFICIENCY PROGRAM WORK?

The Metabolic Efficiency Program is a 3-month comprehensive nutrition and exercise program. The first two sessions are in person, each lasting about an hour. In the first session, we review your intake forms: foods, behaviors, exercise, as well as measure your resting metabolic rate (RMR). Your RMR changes as we age and is affected by disease processes and lean tissue loss.  You may also have concerns about other chronic diseases or ailments that have been bothering you or recommendations from your physician. The second session is a report or “toolkit” with meal plans, nutrition information to improve your health outcomes and an exercise plan designed with your needs and limitations. The 3rd and 4th session are at 6 and 12 weeks and include either a phone contact or a virtual session to assess any further nutrition and exercise instruction which may need to be adjusted based on your original “Plan of Action”. The Metabolic Efficiency program is $200.00. This is not covered by insurance, but many clients are using their HSA or FSA because of the behavioral indices which are covered within our program: nutrition and exercise to prevent further disease process.
